In reference to Borrowed Genius, when Mr. Wenger says to alternate BG and active skill development after 30 minutes each, what does he mean? As in, is he suggesting to stream for 30 minutes or to stream as much as possible and then record in writing?

He means. visualise then do. If you want to develop a skill follow though and use the skill as best you can.
