On the direct learning tape (5b?), the skills I have chosen to learn are activated using language similar to NBG. My question is, may I use the NBG tape to activate my new behaviors? Can I listen to just the "b" side since the pr session put the skill I desired into my other-than-conscious mind?

Yes. Perhaps you have not made the realization that the Direct Learning Activation is primarily a variation of the New Behavior Generator process. The difference is that the Direct learning activation recording is tailored more specifically to physically activate the bahavior you want...the one you have PhotoRead to instruct your mind/body.
