I'm thinking about getting one, since it looks like an interesting learning tool. I searched the boards about it but didn't find that much information about it. Has anyone had good or bad experiences with the Echofone.

No one? Hmm..

Still no response? There must be someone who's played with this before. Or did it kill off all the people who used it?

Darkblood,

I have one and have tried it with paraliminals. To be honest, I have not noticed as much of a difference using it. The sounds are crisper because of the boosted higher frequency response (similiar to using or not using tweeters in your hi-fi system), but as far as increased learning, I am not sure.

This is such an individual, subjective, personal area, that it is hard to say that it does or does not make a difference for me or that it would for you. I do hope that after reading my reply, you will still go out and get one, and at least try it out during the trial period to test it out and satisfy your interest and curiosity. With your also trying it out, we will, by sharing our experiences, have collective knowledge about it. It will also give me added motivation to use mine some more, and learn how to use it more effectively.

Wish you the best.

Thank you for the reply. I know the Echofone website has several testimonials, but one can't really rely on that since it's heavily biased. I think I will purchase one, just to play with it. I heard one testimonial that said using the Echofone helped him have lucid dreams. What has your experience been in this area?

I have not had much experience with lucid dreams - is that an area you are interested in developing?

Certainly, along with being a fully interactive world to explore, you can solve many complex challenges in your dreams.

InquiringMind,

Have you tried the Echofone with any other kind of mind-tech besides paraliminals. I heard its supposed to be really good for use with Brainspeak and any product with a lot of high-end frequencies, like SAMONAS or Silent Stim.

Never mind, I just found the other thread re the Echofone.

Although if anyone has additional experiences to contribute it would be appreciated.

I noticed with SAMONAS products that in the first place you have to use pretty good stereo equipment asnd top-quality headphones to really feel the difference with this product. I wonder to what degree the same priciple applies to the Neurophone and echofone.

Try the neurophone. It's the grand daddy of this technology. It was invented by Mr. Patrick Flanagan and feedback on the unit is interesting.

I'm planning to buy one after I save up. Spent most of my cash on hordes of orgone generators from Karl Welz

That's funny, I am just about to exchange my water ozonator for an Echofone.

I figure the Echofone will give me a general idea of what this technology is about, and then if i want to go "big time" I might look at upgrading to the Neurophone in the future.

Garic,

How are you doing? If you would like, you can try my EchoFone, before you plunk your money down for a new one. Let me know.

Cheers.

InquiringMind,

How are you? Man its been quite a journey since the last time we spoke.

I was provoked by your allusion to reading philosophy as a systematic approach to personal growth...I've been moving in this direction myself, especially for the last year or so...investigating the "geneaology" of these different therapies and schools of thought (NLP etc.)really demystifies what is involved in creating a personal development approach.

I've acquired a couple of new toys you might be interested in as well...send me an email: garicschoen@yahoo.com...if you want to we could meet up, maybe at the same place as last time (if you still live right by there).

Cheers

Garic

Hi Garic,

It will be great to meet again. I still live in the same area, and the same coffee shop is still there! I am curious to see your new toys. I will send you an e-mail.

Cheers.
