Hello

Im a new photoreader, but i have read the book and started practising it and getting good at the tecknique of photoreading.
However im struggling with how i should approach books that have alot of information that i need to remember. Im talking about books like How to make a webpage, how to play piano, other learning and how to books. How do you guys approach this after you have photo read, like how to after read, activate etc.

Would be great if anyone had examples where it worked aswell

Thanx

Chunk it down. Remember your purpose. How to make a webpage. What type of web page do you need to make first? Learn that, apply that, then what type of web page do you want to design next? Activate for that. What tricks would you like on your web page, learn that.

Learn what you need to apply in the order you think you need to apply it.

dydde10,

Hey,

The very first thing you want to do is decide if you want to learn xml or html, which my opinion is redudant now days because of programs such as Adobe fireworks or what have you that do all that for you..I'm all about learning things, but would you rather work harder or smarter? I always choose the later.

Like you I only read "how to" book and VERY techincal material, mostly related to network security. What I do is I try to photoread the book as a whole first, then if that does give me what I need I will do the following.

Treat each chapter as a different book, so I would prepare, preview, photoread, postview then activate that chapter, till the end of the book. Now at this point the material never did not "gel" for me, but if for example it didn't I would rapid read the entire book.

Hope this helps,
