I am finding that photoreading is working and stuff, particularily in group discussion, seems to come out of nowhere. I agree that multiple passes are needed because certain stuff stands out while other, just as important stuff, recedes into the background. I would like to know from anyone how to develop quicker entry into the ideal state, or accelerative learning state. What have any others found successful?

well, my cat likes to sit with me when I read (isnt he great?), so what I do is lay my hand on his diaphram type place. When I do this, I concentrate on both of our breathing, then I just loose it and I can start reading.

I just loose the world with my cat

Here is an extract from one of the archives that Pete replied to :

"Learn to get into the state by the 3-2-1 method following Paul's guidelines. Soon you will discover that it takes less time to reach that state of body and mind. Soon you will be able to reach the state by simply saying 3-2-1 about that fast (trigger/response). Soon just thinking about entering the state will get you there.
And, if you are ever not fully there, tilting your head and flipping the pages will do the rest."

The other thing you can try is listen to the personal genius tape - I always find that this gets me in the right frame of mind (I think this has already been mentioned somewhere in here)

Hope this helps
