I am just wanting to share my successful use of PR.
(for any critics of PRWMS I will not use spell check or grammar check this is just casual)

Once I have chosen a book I preview it about 10-30 seconds. I photoread it. Casually flip through it. At that point if I have to know the info I write out trigger words and questions. I will freenote ansers to some questions or mind map them. I also mind map the book for more detail. Also I will just talk out loud and answer questions as well. Doing this I will get answers to questions that I am very surprised at still. The material comes out it my words. I have gut level feelings about the book sometimes as well.

This is what I do. I will never go back to regular reading ever. This system works period, but it is a system that has steps if you do them you will be amazed.

By the way I took two grad level business classes this fall and made B's on both. Not A's I know but I work full time have 2 kids 6 and under and my wife is in grad school with a heavier load. I spent about 30-45 minutes a week reading for a total of about 10-12 for the entire semester for 2 grad classes.
