I am a new PhotoReader, currently studying Chinese in Shanghai, and I would like to know how PR can help me. My biggest difficulty is remembering the meaning and shape of the millions of different Chinese characters. Could PRing a Chinese dictionary help?

Also, if the majority of my textbook consists of words I haven't yet studied, can PRing the book be of any use?

When PRing a language dictionary, what is the best method to follow?

Anybody with experience using PR to study a foreign language, your insight would be much appreciated.

When I read this post I had a spontaneous activation of this Chinese Proverb (but it doesn't answer your question!):
"The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time in now."
