If one's practice includes both meditaion and active exercises, does it matter which one you do first? I prefer mediation and rest before starting the active exercises.

The Active Exercises help you go deeper into your meditation. you can do them both at different times during the day. If doing them together , it is recommended to do the active exercises and go right into your meditations (no ending/Harvesting of Qi after the exercises.)
