Two specific exercises to do are Moving of Yin and Yang and Breathing of the Universe.
Try one of these for 5-10 minutes before a study session and notice what happens.
One thing I have noticed though, is that QiGong seems to be one heck-of-a-lot easier to practive at the prescribed hours, especialy at midnight. Would it still be beneficial if I did those excersizes before bed?
Sure, doing those exercises before bed would still be beneficial.
An advantage of doing them just before studying is that you open the energy channels making it easier for the brain/body to do its thing. Maybe try two minutes worth of exercise and see if that helps. I'm sure it would, and I think you would then find it easier to creep up to three minutes, then five minutes...
