Hi

I thought I would post this:

Monitor Refresh Rates // Brainwave Entrainment Effect
60hz // electric power lines ,"documented negative effects"
70hz // "mental & astral projection" & endorphin production
72hz // "emotional spectrum" & used for sinusitis, head cold
90hz // "Good feelings, security, well-being balancing"

What are your takes on the above?

Do you think it is legitimate to draw such conclusions?

I am wondering what research supports this? Any links to legit articles about the topic? I am interested to find out...

I know that it is easier for me to look at a monitor with higher refresh rates, but that is just my eyes- I do not notice any of the effects listed above.

Hi Vitaman

I found the frequencies at http://lunarsight.com/freq.htm , there are individual researchers, some are available on the internet.

But I just figured, if light sound machines entrain by flashing lights at the frequency of entrainment? Then a monitor could entrain because it is like a flashing light!? Hypothetical guess, but why not?

If you find research please tell me.

Same goes for fluorescent lights. Some people find it more difficult to read under fluorescent lights. My brother noticed he benefited greatly wearing his tinted glasses to overcome dyslexia under fluorescent light. He's stopped wearing them now but still notices the flickering bothers his eyes.
