Hi,

In the essentials book you mention not to have a doormat with holes in it. I understand the reasoning when the holes are not on a hard surface such as a bed headboard or the backs of chairs. I don't understand why on the doormat. This leads me to my pertinent question. I have a piece of artwork that hangs on my wall like a picture. It is made of wood and has flowers carved out of it so you can see the wall behind it. Would this be in the same category as the doormat rule of no holes?

Thanks, amb

Aloha amb,

No, it’s not the same. The doormat situation is so that the incoming energy does not “fall in a hole”.

Much Love, Shawn
