Thanks Babayada

"It seems to me you may want a greater sense of participation and meaning in the process. If that is so, then that book will help."

I think that sums up how I feel, especially that feeling of wanting more participation. I have read a few books on Zen, mainly out of interest, and will check out your recommendation.

Please do come back and let me know how it works for you after reading or listening to it. It may be different than other material on Zen you've encountered. It is very direct and concerns practice and living directly, rather than being about each.

Babayada

I will do. I have ordered the book from Amazon and I am looking forward to reading it.
