Hi Everyone,
I'm new and trying to pick 4 paraliminals. Every time I look at the list I
think I know which 4 I want. Then i started reading the forums and have
4 completely different ones. So i thought i'd ask if anyone has a suggestion.

i originally chose 5 (which i'm trying to get to 4):

belief - since i always think things will work for others but not for me.
anxiety free - for anxiety issues over some health problems/depression
perfect health - for the health issues
new behavior generator - for weight and other bad habits (oversleeping ,etc)
self-esteem - for feelings of unworthiness.

i think the main things i want to work on are this cynical attitude and that i don't believe i can/have the power to change anything (and none of these tapes/cd's/etc will work). there is no joy. everything is blah.... worrying/anxious/scared about some health issues and the fear is overwhelming everything else. and getting rid of anger.

i saw someone recommended deep relaxation and positive relationships and and and...

any suggestions?

thanks very much! i'm excited about trying these if i could only decide (oh, and what about get around to it - haha).

Hey FreeGirl.

I'd go with Self esteem and New behavior, and Belief. No disrespect to Learning Strategies, but with those three you can pretty much take care of any issue.

Self Esteem is a good base to start with.

Belief after than to align your beliefs to all your dreams in life.

New Behavior to get you doing what it takes to get what you want out of life.

Yeah... I would start somewhere. And you probably also have to start somewhere. Often I don't know the real problem, but have an idea of what it is... And very often things change, and I switch CD because my problem change... Maybe there is another belief behind the belief you have right now... And maybe another one behind that one... And to find out that I use the paraliminal CD Belief....

First I would state a belief I want instead of the old belief: Like I really feel like I can change anything in my life to where I want my life to be..... Or... : I'm controlling my life, my feelings and controlling my life where I want to go (If so, NLP can also help here.. Like "Using your brain for a change" by Richard Bandler). Or the belief: I can change my life to what I want, and I don't want to compare myself with other people, I only focus on myself and my own results...

I would definately start with only one paraliminal until the change has happend and you don't feel like you have to listen more to it... If after a long time IF the change has not happend then I would change the paraliminal to another one and try to fix the problem on that one instead.. and so forth.... Start with only one paraliminal.... and stay to that only problem you want to fix... until it's fixed... Use maksimum two weeks with the same session on a paraliminal.... else change it...

Are probably must haves.

Belief I rarely use. since we have more problems with two opposing beliefs it's easier to use New Behaviour Generator to strengthen the belief most suited to the behaviour we want to adopt. Often the opposing belief will continue to serve us well in other areas of our lives.

So drop Belief and you have 4 excellent Paraliminals to get you started.

Self-Esteem Supercharger changed drastically my life. When I started using it I felt like being wrapped in a blanket of love. I socialise more. I Almost got rid completely of my internet addiction (hey, I still have to come here once in a while... ;-) ). I talk to, smile to, joke with girls I dont even know! Something I never did before in the past! I feel like hugging and kissing them all! My work seems more fun, I procrastinate less, Things that used to nag me dont nag me that much anymore. And I could add more!

Memory Supercharger also is one of my favorite title. I use to have communication problemes before (always searching for my words, forgetting a lot of things.) I have a excellent vocabulary cause I read a lot (BTW, I'm french), but I was always searching for the right word to put at the right place which some times made more funny phrases than anything else. With this paraliminal now my language is so fluid that sometime I even amaze myself!

I have also tried Dream Play (actually the first paraliminal I bought). Never did anything for me.... :-( I think I bought it 4-5 years ago. I only got into Paraliminals again when I bought two old tapes (S-E.S. and M.S.) in a yard sale about a year ago for a few bucks. I just dont know why dreamplay never worked for me.

I agree, the paraliminals suggested are excellent...simply put.
I believe that NBG has virtually eliminated some social anxieties that I have had in the past. They come back occassionally but If I listened to NBG again at times just for a boost Im sure that those issues would be disolved permanently.

Just as it has done with SuperchargedMe Self Esteem Supercharger has helped to make me a far more confident person than I was. Its a great paraliminal to listen to anytime really. If you are feeling a little down in the dumps at any particular time its great to give you that pick me up.

I have just a small question for SuperchargedMe. I occassionally sufffer from a lack of words during conversation, though mostly when Im tired. Though I also read a lot. Trying to pick that illusive word out of my brain at times not always comes easy.

Can I ask you please which goal or similar you use for the Memory Supercharger to help you with this? Maybe something like 'I will retain more words when I read so I can communicate effectively'?

FreeGirl, once you have your paraliminals and have used them please let us know you go on with them

I would definately drop New Behavior Generator, since you don't have so many behaviors that you want to change.... Your belief is your problem, not your behavior, which you physically can see, move etc..... If you change your core beliefs you will change your behavior... so start changing your beliefs first....

Since beliefs is your problem, not your behavior... You are not doing something physically or anything like that you can see you want to change... Later on when changing your beleifs, after they are changed, then there is probably some time leftover for New Behavior Generator.. for som old habits you want to change.... when time is left for that.. and whola, you have 4 paraliminals:

I have never used any goals with Memory Supercharger. I just use it like that. Most of the time I listen to it when I go to sleep at night and most of the time I dont even get to the countdown... I found that it was easier for me to speak when I went socializing after listenting to it the night before. The same day I had listen to Self-Esteem Supercharger in the morning. I guess that both together do a wonderful pair!!!
