We are looking for a new house and one house has the master bedroom across whole of the east end of house. House is Period 8 East 1 (I think) so that end of house has conflict star in NE, Relationship/collaboration + Abundance star in middle (E) and Disaster star in SE.
The bed would probably go in NE area but could possibly go in E area.
How do I deal with a room which covers several areas like this?

For your purposes, just draw up the grid as usual. A room can have more than one palace or "area", as you call it. Obviously, E then looks like a much better idea for a bed than NE.

Incidentally, it would be a good idea to make sure that it is E1, since the whole picture changes if it is E2/3.
