Repairing any time-based recurring psychological problem. E.g. you can use it on your psychotic ex's birthday and feel great about being alive and having this day to celibrate, in spite of the fact the most disgusting human being on the face of this earth was rent from his or her mother's womb on this most wretched of all days.

Remember, every day is a holiday to someone.

Lifting ones spirits when one starts feeling down about stuff. Like it's raining and you wanted to go and play golf. You got guest coming over and just wish they would go away or you've been dragged to a party you don't really want to attend.

I also remember this story from a customer: although a successful man in his professional and personal life, each time the holidays came about, he'd feel uneasy and nervous. He said that even though he was a grown man, educated, successful, and independent, as soon as he'd arrive at a holiday gathering with his family, particularly his parents, he'd start to feel as if he was a kid again, trying to live up to his parents' expectations. He listened to Holiday Cheer and instead of feeling his usual uneasiness and feeling that he couldn't wait until it was all over, he could feel enthusiastic about and look forward to the holidays.
