Hello
This is the first time I have had such a mental image in a parraliminal session.

At the end of a self esteem supercharger session and I was feeling relaxed and good on the counting out at the finish. I experienced a relatively clear image in my mind, like a colour image in a dream, of a soldier pointing a gun at me. It was strange because the session went well and this image was completely out of character with how I felt. this kind of thing has never happened before. It was quite disconcerting. I guess its rareness and clarity make it stand out in my mind? Should one take any notice of this kind of thing if it is such a rare experience. If I am to get any clear images again I dont want this!

I believe that you may have been dreaming and you received a lot of information from you subconcious. Dreams serve you to maintaine balance in your life. You recieved a gift. And you can do some very good work with this. You can take this image the people and animals. And write it down with all the emotions that you have experienced during that episode. Then use the Dream Analysis method of John Overdurf and Julie Silverthorne to understand the message that your subconscious mind gave you.

I still remember my first session with a paraliminal tape. I had totally fucked up dreams the next two nights. But it didn't stop me from using it.

Paraliminals have worked great for me, and I have been using them for a while now. If there is one other thing they do though its give me crazy dreams, they have done since the first listen. I dream a lot in general though the paraliminals seem to enhance those and from time to time I have had the most incredibly vivid dreams. Id actually prefer not to dream as much in general as it leaves me tired the day after so I could probably do with a 'dream free, restful night' paraliminal! Suffice to say I never listen to dream play!

Thanks folks
it is nice to know I am not the only one that gets a vivid image when coming back to the present at the end of a parraliminal session

The frightening imagery that i asked about hasnt happened again since (more than a week), which is pleasing, as it was so frightening to me I would not keep on with the parraliminals if it kept returning.

It was your minds challenge to you., asking, do you have the Self-Esteem now to keep going or can you frighten yourself to stop?

It happens because of our internal drive to keep the status quo. If we persist anyway we cannot help but to grow.
