when I photoread (i'm a noob) i feel really tired in my eyes after a short while. Is this normal? will it go away soon? I've only been photoreading for 2 days, and I haven't really been able to get it down pat, but I'm getting tired in my PR sessions.

thanks,
C

I asked a similar question within my post about purpose questions (just a couple down from this post).

Of course, I've photoread close to 3500 pages in two days. I hope we get some input.

So as not to leave you both hanging,
it is suggested that you take a 5 minute break
after 25 minutes of PR. The suggestion
is to use the break for something other than PR.

It is also suggested that you take a
drink of water at the break since PR tends to dehydrate
your brain.

I may have the timing off slightly, but
it is pretty close to the suggestion.

I am quoting Alex here and if there is something
wrong or missing, it is my fault.

I'm sure someone will add to this or correct
me soon.

Gianni is correct. Make sure you drink plenty of water when photoreading. Also rub your hands for friction and then gently cup them over your eyes.

Tiredness from PhotoReading is not uncommon. Considering the fact that the PhotoReading step triggers an increase of theta brain activity what you normally experience during sleep and dreaming. You''ll be refreshed in about 15 minutes after you finished PhotoReading.

Headache is often a sign of dehydration.
