Hi, I believe that my house is a period 7 house as I bought it in November 2001 and painted it then also. However, over the years the walls that wall in my garden have fallen down one by one, the last garden wall was replaced in March of this year. I built a small platform for a temporary pool out the front of the house in the patio in about 2005. I put in mosquito nets on all but one window in my house in 2006. Also some of the tiles blew off the roof (only about 10 tiles in total) and this was fixed in March. Do any of these events actually change the period of my home?

Tthank you for any advice.

Hi, Nicole,

It doesn't sound like you've made any structural changes to the home. You would need to have replaced the actual windows and frames or replaced the entire roof to change the period of your home.

That would mean it's still a period 7.
