Hello,

I feel a bit of a dill for this one, but I'm a bit confused about what constitutes general space at home. I am in the process of building a new home which is a ranch style house. It's just one long rectangle with a carport at one end (not a garage, if that makes any difference) and a verandah along the front. All under the one roof.
What I'm confused about is when determing the spaces for each direction, do I include the carport and/or verandah? Or just the interior of the house?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Exclude the veranda and the carport unless they are walled in and attached to the house.

Thank you! Neither the car port or verandah are walled in, but they are all under the same roof. ?

Well, according to WInd and Jade from Dragon-Gate, I do include the carport and verandah when plotting my feng shui chart! Thanks Wind and Jade! and peakinside!

From what I read, if it's attached to the house, it's part of the house.
