hey everyone,

I hope everyone is having a great week so far. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with The Major System? The system works by converting number sequences into nouns, nouns into images, and linking images into sequences. It's suppose to be the most powerful memory system. I'm having such a hard time trying to learn this system, I was hoping if anyone knows a book or self-study course that fully explains the system and gives basic to advanced exercises to learn it. Does anyone know of such a thing? Thanks in advance!

One book that explains this is. Your Memory How it Works and How to Improve. Kenneth L. Higbee is the author.

Richard

I have used the Major System to memories packs of cards, books and anything else I felt I wanted to. And just to blow my trumpet a little I have used it succesfully in memorising lists of up to 300 items. I haven't gone much beyond that though.

Once I memorised the basics of the system I found it was virtually impossible to forget it and from there I was able to memorise whatever I needed to. I used a book by Tony Buzan to get to grips with the basics. If the link below does not work check it out on Amazon by all means
