I just ordered the PhotoReading program (I haven't received it yet). I should probably have read through this forum first. My eyesight isn't that great due to multiple surgeries. I can read more or less fine using both eyes together, but the reading vision in one eye is marginal at best and cannot be corrected. Does anyone have any knowledge that this could interfere with PhotoReading?

Thanks, Mums

There should be no problem,
in fact it may be easier for you,
in that you will avoid trying
to consciously read the material.

The subconscious mind can
piece together the optical images
transmitted to the rods (peripheral
vision) of your eye and peripheral
vision is actually stronger than
central (rod) vision. I have myopia,
which has actually improved due to
using san gaze in photoreading,
and often PR (PhotoRead) with
my glasses off, to let my
peripheral vision do the work better.

Then why do people wear glasses instead of just going around without them and subconsciously piece together optical images?!?!?!

Jacktuff13 posed a good observation: "Then why do people wear glasses instead of just going around without them and subconsciously piece together optical images?!?!?! "

Actually, many masters of martial arts use what is
called San Gaze in their everyday life , as well as using
emphasis on the senses of hearing, electromagnetic
sensing (or chi sense), kinesthetic sense, and
smell to rely less and less on central vision.
These masters of martial arts have awesome perceptual skills.
This of course improves abilities in self defense,
as having an acute "radar" is the cornerstone of
preventing problems from creeping up and overwhelming you.

One has to become skilled ar using the ACTIVATION
phase in everyday life. Some call it "spooky
activation" and the more you practice it, the more you master it.
I have used it on critical exams, martial art kumite (free sparring),
and daily life, myself, but I am far from being a "master".
Before I was introduced to PHOTOREADING and the works
of Paul Scheele, I though people who were into
Feng Shui, san gaze, and "spooky activation"
were just plain out of their minds. Consequently,
such people never really talked to me about
these things too much. Now I converse with
these guys and their abilities are just plain AWESOME!
They usually keep it low profile, as the average person
does not embrace such ideas.

The majority of the world has not caught on to these
principals. I actually have fun using the
process to not only piece together optical images, but the
subliminal sounds and "vibes" I get. You may want to
look at the Forums called "Beyond Human", "Paraliminal Learning",
and the Feng Shui forums to understand more of this.
Again, these things are not embraced by
mainstream society and Paul Scheele is truly ahead of
the times, in presenting this. He is truly a pioneer,
like Einstein, Columbus, Pasteur, and others who
have been able to get out of the box and explore
new innovative methods to accomplish goals.

Addendum

The material is being decoded by an alternative pathway created by the rods (peripheral monochromatic vision receptors) of the eye, rather than the central fovea ( cones-centralized color vision receptors). The rods of the eye are gathering the full message of the printed page! This is what is known as your peripheral vision. The peripheral vision actually feeds the material into more powerful and deeper pathways than traditional central fovea vision. This is why PR is more powerful than traditional reading. The OTC (other than conscious) mind is quite strong. There is much research on the power of subliminal observations ( e.g. peripheral vision).

Hope this helps.

Hi!

I have heard that some people managed to get back their perfect eyesight
due to photoreading (they were all short-sighted people). Also, Paul says in the book that photoreading helps to balance your sight. Is this possible?

*bump*

I'd be quite interested if someone could answer that. Being shortsighted, this could be quite nice...

Yes. So why not try it and see for yourself?
