Please go to the below web site.

http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?node=home/ipod_accessories/headphones

The ear phone I am using to listen to the paraliminal CDs is the very first one, called "Apple Ipod earphones". It costs $29.00.

I am just wondering if that is an appropriate ear phone or is there a special type of ear phone I should use?

Also, I have converted some paraliminal sessions into I Pod files and plan to listen to them through the I Pod instead of through the regular CD. Is that going to diminish the effectiveness?

Thanks

This earphone is one that I use with my Ipod and it works just fine. Depending on Ipod model you may rip the CD at a higher quality setting. Some loss may occur yet you will still get all of the benifits.

A search brings up other threads addressing this topic. What kevin says is a good general summation of what, for example, this thread:

ParaliminalMP3Thread
says.

The basic rule of thumb: the higher the bit rate with mp3 the better (320 kbps would be the best), or just use the .wav file, which would basically be no loss at all.

As someone else in the thread suggests, I basically do about 220 and find it works the same for me as if I used a Holosync disc directly. And even if you lose the Holosync benefit, the two tracks of the Paraliminal still work. After all, many of these used to be released on cassette tapes with no Holosync tracks, and they were still effective even then!

I know I used a couple of them on cassette and was happy with some of the results I experienced.

Hope that helps.

blessings,

Steve
