hi flamerozzy ,
you're in the right track..
basically you probe your inner mind,to get your answers..
think of it as a computer; you the user, asking questions of that computer...and they should be like the kind that you don't expect an immediate answer,i,e from your logical mind....
i'll give you an example ,i photo read a Network+ course material..
after photo reading it,i waited 15 mins, and i thought i should mind probe abt it..
i looked at the table of contents, the list was something like this
1.Networking overview
2.basic concepts
3.networking Operating systems
4.hardware
5.software
6.Troubleshooting
i formulated questions like,
1.what is networking?what is the use of it?
2.what makes networking possible?what basic concepts are involved?
3.what role does Operating system plays in it?
4.what type of hardware is used?what role does hardware play in the process?
5.what type of software are required?are they important for optimal use of the hardware?
6.what are the problems?precautions/Cure?
there were abt 28 chapters,i laid some of them so that i can give you the feeling of it...
you can also use your "TRIGGER WORDS"for the same.
after i found answers to these questions,i still thought i might need to go over them again, since i've had spent abt 55 mins on a 250 paged book..
so again i asked my inner mind some more questions,
1.please guide me to the informations, which i still have to know to be perfect at it,
2.what is an example of something i still have to explore?
SURPRISINGLY it worked great, the first time when i spent 55 mins,it felt like the book was a stranger to me,but when i took the second pass it felt friendly, and in an abt 2 hrs total i was able to make a giant mind map out of this book..
bye,
k
