I`m completely new in Feng Shui.

Should people find partners that has some of the same good directions as themselves?

Girls borned in the same year as me has personal nr 5 while I have 1. Living together then sounds like both will not get the full potential in houses etc.
Does this have equal or more importancy as finding a partner that has allied animal friend?

Do experts in Feng Shui see the wholeness in astrology, meaning taking in facts from Western Astrology?

Hi John,

I don't think you need to search for a partner with the same number. It does make things easier but it's like dating someone with the same astrolgoy sign..which I've done. Like looking in a mirror. You have the same interests and are a lot alike. Could get boring.

I'm thinking that astrology started in the east and made it's way over to the west and was changed along the way, since vedic astrology is very similar to western astrology.

I'll tell you that my best partner is a dragon or a rat. I've never met one yet. My ex husband is a horse.

Thanks

So your ex is a horse, that`s good to know :b
Anyway, I was referring to beneficial nr (for instance the same) and not only the same personal nr.

Aloha JohnA,

Having a spouse that is in the same "west" or "East" group makes things convenient when placing the bed and shared office desk, but you'll be doing your own activation cards as will they, no matter of you share the same directions or not.

I focus more on what you desire in your relationship and future partner and that they be he best possible match for your highest good, rather than narrowing it down to another "East/West" person as yourself. Spend time with that relationship card!

Much Love, Shawn

Thank you very much

I will put more effort in what the cards are all about. My Health Direction is East, I have a picture of Chunyi Lin on my wall in the bedroom, facing East.

John, what does Chunyi Lin have to do with your partner question?

I relate it to Activation Cards that Shawn has written about. I think a card from him can have only good benefit anyway.
I want to understand everything about Feng Shui and certainly Activation Cards. I have done disc 1 and 2 now.
Can add that western astrology is many thousand years old, long before year 0.

I say eastern astrology is older. The civilizations themselves are older.
So what do you have in your relationship direction?

On the dvd, one of Marie's clients, who was single with no prospects, had a mirror in her relationship direction in her living room signifying "one" person, because when you look in the mirror how many people do you see? One. So she was creating more alone-ness. But I was surprised that she mentioned that because the living room is general space feng shui and I would have thought it wouldn't have mattered in the living room having a mirror there..only in the bedroom where you are supposed to activate your best directions...It's confusing ...maybe the Answer Man can elaborate on this?

Aloha JohnA,

It's not about the photo's facing direction, it's about the sector/direction it is placed in the east of "your" room or house.

I'm not going to g ointo the western astrology question. It may be a good question for you to submit to the quarterly phone call Q&A.

The living room isn't just Space Feng Shui. The Personal Feng Shui is activating energy at a different level than the Space Feng Shui (Level One and Two facets), and Time Feng Shui.

Your personal relationship direction is the same in your bedroom, living room, or house. The same areas hold the Space Feng Shui energy as well.

Much Love, Shawn

Oh, now wait a minute. Where does it say that in the course Shawn? All I read is that one can activate a family member's Success direction in the living room by putting their picture there. I don't remember reading that one should activate their four best directions in everyroom including the living room. The person's four best directions are supposed to be activated in the bedroom... ???
