So far no luck, but I'm not giving up just yet!

My goal is mostly in the area of magna, mainly for fun.

Anyone think maybe my purpose is flawed? I basically state that "My purpose is to be able to draw better". Any suggestions for a better one maybe?

Tom.

Hi,

This comes to mind: Draw what? (manga, yeah, but it includes lots of other things.. storylines, planning each picture, deciding what is it you want to say with each picture... (sorry, my english, didn't know how to exactly say these things)).

And: better than what? Who?

How do you know when you draw better? What is a certain sign you know you draw better? And what then?

Do you want to have a style of your own, distinguished from other styles?

Keep it up! Maybe it is.. you could start with ordinary drawing and use the skills in drawing manga?

2 €cents again ;-)

Better than what? Stick figures.

What do you want to draw cartoons, still life, landscapes, portraits?

Or perhaps your real goal is to draw an artistic representation of objects?

You have nothing to measure your goal. If you never really drew much you might just want to have the accurate representation that people can recognise what I was drawing.

Excellent site: RateMyDrawings
It's not just about rating drawings. One really cool feature is the ability to watch a drawing come into creation. It really gets you thinking in a right brain way.

Enjoy!

Well, draw anything better actually. But if we have to be more focused, mainly manga battles.
How is it possible to measure drawing improvement?

Any ideas of what purposes will have a greater impact?

Tom.
