Hi, I'm new here. Not too clued up on forum etiquette so apologies if I don't go into a big introduction.

I just wanted to say I am currently very grateful that forums such as this exist as a way of communicating with like minded people who are passionate about self development.

And secondly I am currently very grateful I came across the newly released Louise Hay 'You Can Heal Your Life' DVD yesterday. I purchased the expanded version for just £3 more than the regular version and am about to fall asleep listening to the affirmations concerning wealth.

I hope no one thinks this is a sales pitch because it certainly isn't but after watching the first half hour of the main film I got a very nice vibe from it. It's in a similar vein to The ubiquitous 'Secret'

That's what I am currently grateful for (There is a whole lot more too but these were my initial thoughts after reading the post.)

Take Care

CG

I'm greatful for my spirituality, god, the universe, my positive outlook, the friends I have, my teachers, my art and my new career.

Be well,

I am thankful for the warm feelings I have toward the wonderful friends and people I know.

I'm thankful for all the fun in my life.

for the trees, the sky, the fresh air, and just feeling good inside.

And for now I am thankful that I have the positive spirit to create that which I desire... and for inspiration to guide me.

cheers~*

Hello people,

Thank you for starting this tread danielcgordon. I am greatful for your initiative.

I am greatful for all the people here that I barely know but took the time to answer my email when I needed the most.

I am greatful also for the film industry, and directors that make movies like The Secret, You can heal your life (I too have the extended version and it's been 14 times now that I watch the whole 5 1/2 hours, just perfect !)

I am greatful for more movies in this area that is coming.

I am greatful to be able to right in English (my way) even if I am French and people undesrtand me anyway.

I am greatful for genius people who invente things like learning strategies and others make and that give hope for a better life !

I am greatful for my boyfriend, he is just the way I need him to be, he is loving, affectionate and knows own to do with me.

I could continue on and on....

It's good when we start to finally find a lot to be greatful for... before this question from danielcgordon, I was not thinking of it...

thank you again

Isabelle

Your welcome.

In the midst of one of my darkest hours I read a qoute by Wayne Dyer. "Change the way we look at things and the things we look at change."

That was before I discovered gratitude...after sobering up I managed to put the two of them together.

All of the worst things in my life have brought about the biggest changes, so if I change the way I look at it, its really the best thing that could happen to me!!

Granted its hard to go thru them, but if I can remain gratiful during the process I can remember that its the best thing for me in reverse!!
