Hi,

I have a large number of ebooks to photoread. I want to get Acrobat to stream the pages so I can photoread hands free. Any advice?

What do you mean by 'stream'?

What program are these ebooks distilled?

Most come in pdf?

Thanks!!!

The scrolling command is lame.

We'll get right after it. I love PhotoReading PDF's now. It is so convenient. I transferred a long list to my faster computer, will use your info.

That is sweet just checked it. However do you know of anyway 'full-screen' can be of two pages at once?

To the original poster, stick with it!!

Thanks again to Ganesh, I just PhotoRead in 9 minutes a 540 page book I long wanted to read!

I could only set the PDF full-page timer down to 1 second. It would not take an incremental setting. I adjusted to one page, however two pages would be half the time.

Thanks!!!

Ya Yukala.
You can set two pages at a time. In left pane click on Full Screen. Remove tick from "Fill Screen with one page at a time" on right side. Its in the second line. Now, come to main menu "File edit view etc.". Follow as like this: View-->"Page Display"-->"Two Up". This displays 2 pages at a time on you screen.
Now do ctrl-L
It'll show you two pages at a time. But it works best on 19 inch monitor screen and 1280x1024 resolution. For any shorter screen, the font size becomes small enough to strain the eyes.

However you can't reduce time below 1 second. The blip page effect is also very good in double page mode. I am using the same.

Got it thanks, I was using Acrobat 7 where that option is not available, however found in Acorbat 8.

Monitors are all 20 inch, same resolution so it reads really nice.

Thanks again!
