Just curious how other people handle this. When you sit down to start the photoreading of the books essentially you have the same purpose for all the books right?

Do you
A. Get into state and photoread all the books in one sitting
or
B. Do you stop, take a break, and then get back into state for the next book.

No need to do the books in one sitting. Much more logical to PhotoRead them when you get hold of them and decide if they suit the purpose.

They can be collected over days weeks or months. One of the books you use could be the book you PhotoRead at the beginning of the year.

Thanks Alex! Let me rephrase a little bit. You've got a stack of books sitting next to you that you've identified as relevant to your purpose.

Do you photoread all the books straight through or take a break after each one?

I mean your purpose is the same for all the books right? Seems like it wouldn't matter if you stopped and took a break or if you photoread all the books straight through without a break?

What do you think?

Syntopic reading is not to be confused with Direct Learning. For syntopic reading PhotoRead each book as you find it. That way it allows it to incubate before you start activating for your syntopic mind map. It also allows time for gut reaction to tell you if the book is suitable or not.

Thanks Alex! So you're saying take a break in between each book?
