Hi,

Does anyone knows about a hypnosis tapes or recording that eliminates anger?

I,ve been abused when I was a child, as a result, I lose my temper very quickly. I need a paraliminal, subliminal, or normal hypnosis session. However, I never found anything like that. As a result, I feel ****ed at every Hypnotist who made tapes for everything except anger management and also they lack lots of creativity!!!!!!!!!

Thanks folks!

I've delt with anger issues myself. I've found Direct Learning helped me.

Do you mean you photoread books on Anger?

Thanks!

The Sedona Method could definitely be worthwhile, it helps you deal with emotions on the spot and has been VERY helpful to me. I have only occasionally had problems with anger management, so in that regard I can't really speak from experience, but it has definitely helped me (and still does!) deal with other emotions.

I just received the Paraliminal New Behavior Generator as part of the Decisive Action Course, haven't worked with it yet, but from reading other posts here I have a feeling that might be worth considering as well.

Yep.

 • Managing Anger, Mitch Messer
 • Anger Management Sourcebook, the, Glenn R. Schiraldi and Melissa Hallmark Kerr
 • Emotional Longevity, Norman B. Anderson
 • Anger, How to Live With and Without It, Albert Ellis
 • Learned Optimism, Martin E. P. Seligman

Check your library, they might have different books. I chose Emotional Longevity because I know, intellectually, that anger kills, but I needed to know that with my Whole Mind. I chose Learned Optimism because it's hard to be angry when you believe that things are working out well, even if you're having a temporary setback. Follow your own intuitions. I actually just walked into the library and pulled books off the shelf that looked helpful.

I would also suggest using the New Behaviour Generator along with direct learning.

I would also recommend the Resiliency course. It's about being able to bounce back from negative experiences. Not that you must embrace what happened to you or that you would want to go through it again, but you can learn to see how it changed your life. You can use what happened to make your life better now.

You can also learn to repsond to situations in a positive way instead of reacting with anger, putting you in control of the situation rather than the situation having control over you. The Resiliency course gives you the skills to get over a past event and to be able to respond to new situations.

Good luck!

I have been using a Head Cleaners tape called "Smoothing Angst" and I really like it. Dr. J. who makes the Head Cleaner tapes, is coming out with a tape for anger. He also has a great website. Check it out:

The above website also has some free articles, and some are about anger. Might be worth checking out.

I just listened to the New History Generator, Side A. There was an event in my life that really side-tracked me, and I could feel a "pull" towards that event. I went head-to-head with it, and really visuallized the hell out of it. I believe that I couldn't have done it without first having the anger management, but this is the final lock for me. There is probably an event in your life that contributes vastly to your storehouse of unresolved anger. Anger is, in many ways, like an alergy. Alergies are threshhold phenomina - they can have no effect for a long time, until enough other alergens are present. E.g., cigarette smoke doesn't bother me unless there is pet dander present, and pet dander doesn't bother me at all, except for a stuffy nose that I can live with easily. Once you have an inner calmness to work from, an inner place to stand at peace with yourself, you can cut through whatever Gordian Knot haunts your past.
