I am currently watching Wisdom and Insights and have started doing 10 minutes of standing Qi Gong each day. I was intrigued by what Chunyi said that really this is the only exercise you need to do especially if short of time.

I am underweight and do not wish to lose any weight. If anything I need to put on weight. I make sure my tongue is against the roof of my mouth when doing the exercises as I do not want any weight loss. Will this still be a good exercise for me if I am not after weight loss? I really like how it gets the Qi flowing later when I have completed the 10 minutes.

Thanks

Aloha Realize,

Good question. They are not "weight loss only" exercises, rather, they are mostly focused on opening your belt channel and strengthening kidney energy. This helps "balance" the body's weight and the energy of the entire system, whether that mean adding or losing weight.

Much Love,

Shawn

Thanks Shawn, that's a relief to hear as I find it such an effective exercise.

Kind regards
