Hi there. My kitchen is in the North West direction and I believe this is a real no no. What cures can I use to remedy this if at all?

Hello, if your kitchen is located in the North West, it's location is considered to be "fire at Heaven's Gate" and is therefore very inauspicious. Relocating the kitchen is probably out of the question, so placing a large urn of still yin water (18 inches deep and 12 inches across) will overcome the fire energy of the kitchen using the destructive cycle of the 5 elements.
