Hello, I have 1 question to ask.

Does it matter feng shui wise in the kitchen if I cook using an induction cooker instead of gas stove?

I don't have an answer for this one, so I'd muscle test or "gut check" to see what checks out as best for my house and me in this situation.

...and if you are comfortable with the Time Feng Shui section, a colleague mentioned that it could be beneficial to not have the open flame if there’s a negative earth star (5 or 2) in the kitchen.

Open flame will be much stronger in effect than electric one. But they are both belong to the fire category. So it still matters.

Both do belong to the fire element, Its not and issue of having or not having the fire element in the kitchen. The question is one of good, better, best regarding the quality of fire element she has in her kitchen.
