I love SFQ. Have been doing it for years now. Am not as consistent as I "should" be but get a lot out of it.

Lately, it seems like everything I touch (from computers to DVD players to my car and my bike) seems to malfunction. This happens to me every now and then and I feel like William H. Macy in The Cooler. He was a bad luck guy hired by a casino to mess up the luck of the winning customers.

I know that doing consistent Qigong is the most important response to these episodes but what are your thoughts on why this happens? Too much qi? Too attached to goals and outcomes? I ask more out of curiosity and a sense of fun discovery than desperate need but would love your guys' thoughts!

Chunyi talks about how as your energy increases, so does it's interaction with other people and environment. He tells a story about how he realized that whenever he got angry, it costed him money, whether it was a breakdown happening with his car engine, lawn mower, etc.

"I can't afford to be angry!" wink

More like the "Wrecker" rather than the "Cooler," but Iike your reference. I'll have to check out the book/movie?

Best,

Shawn

thanks for the reply, shawn. so the more you grow, the more careful you have to be to keep your heart forgiving and open. good advice.

and, yeah, it's a movie. decent. i rewatched it because i love poker and i feel like qigong before and during my online poker games is really good for my mindset and my variance/luck.

best,

mm
