Hello, I would like to place a large mirror over my sideboard to reflect my dining table. I am considering buying a secondhand mirror but am concerned about the history of the mirror (ie what it has witnessed) and would like to know if there is an effective cleansing remedy or should I just not even consider buying secondhand. Many thanks for your help.

Check out what she has to say regarding antiques in Level Two, page 23, regarding cleaning it with a lavender oil/wash, and then I'd walk through the etheric, emotional, mental, and spiritual space cleaning from the Forgiveness chapter in Level One.

Hi Sharon,

I don't think the second hand one matters. Because the attribute of the mirror is reflection, not taking in. It won't absorb any bad qi and hold it.

Best,
Siusiu

Thank you for your thoughts siusiufengshui.

What I've found in my experience with working with Marie Diamond's system and Master Chunyi Lin's Spring Forest qigong over the years is that objects do pick up and hold energy from that which they have been around. And mirrors, even being reflective in nature, holds that which it interacts with.

Sharon - take the time to clean/clear it and it's not an issue either way. wink

Much Love,

Shawn
