on some paraliminals, Paul states to not have your thumbs touching, just curious as to why?

stimulus-responce as we go through some for the process we have to thing about negatives, and this is one way for making sure that we don't create a negative S-R.. it a bit like a light switch.. you press it and the light come on... try this think of a real fanstastic time and remember it in the best detail you can, now as your thinking about it.. press your finger and thumb together.. do it a few time then press your figer and thumb together.. and what happens wow you get the good feelings back.. hope that was helpful

It becomes a distraction during the listening. When you get really relaxed they feel like they've become seperated so you want to look (bringing you out of the deep relaxation) and see, then you're fighting to either bring them back together or staying relaxed. It's simply easier not to have any part of the body crossed or touching so you can stay fully relaxed.

Fantastic, thanks for all of the responses. By the way, does Paul ever visit these forums anymore?

Not often. He's busy traveling, creating programs and doing presentations so we keep him informed of any ideas and suggestions that come up on the forum.

it's funny, but after having used the paraliminals for the past few months, having gone through the photoreading course (and watched the dvd) and now working on the natural brilliance course, I feel like I already sort of know him. I definitely look forward to meeting him some day!
