Can I hang a windchime outside of my bedroom (on the outside of the house) to cure the illness star or do i have to hang the windchime inside the room itself?

I have the illness star in a bedroom and in a side door (not the front door)

To clarify, the cure can be placed anywhere in the direction/section of the house.

Now can you place a wind chime outside, hanging from under the roof eve in that section? Yes. But being outside, it's will need to be a bit bigger than an indoor one since its not enclosed.
