I have to agree with Kate. I too read the book only to set it aside for the next year, but, like many of you, after remembering the potential power in the techniques, I picked it back up, created a program, and committed to it. This past summer I spent 6 weeks swimming underwater in the lake I live on for an hour a day, everyday (just like Win said). This alone is a *wonderful* exercise. I actually looked forward to it everyday because I felt so good afterwards! After the six weeks I started an Image Streaming program, and have stuck to it. I used to be one that could never clearly see things in my mind's eye, but now, when I get bored, I make up little "video games" to play in my head so I can pass the time. I have never used a partner for this, just me and my microcassete (which I have found to be extremely usefull to just spout off ideas to -Remember: "you get more of what you reinforce"), and am left in awe of what the human mind can do. What really makes the difference on these exercises is to actually 'do' them. Sorry if this sounds scolding, it's just the only way to get results. Given that I have had such a wonderful history with both LS and Win W., I am *greatly* looking forward to "The Genius Code", I'm sure that I will be in for another 'life-changer' (that is: quality of life).
