If you do a search on Dane Spotts you will find that he has been in trouble with the Federal Trade Commision for not honoring a money back guarantee on something called the Learning Machine. Most of the complaints involved frustrated consumers who returned their machines because they did not work, or had broken or missing parts.

Those are the main reasons that I choose Centerpointe over Mindtek but from what I have heard Mindtek's products are still pretty good and do work. I just personally choose to do business elsewhere.
