Over the past couple of years I've noticed some weird memory recall in relation to dreams. Just about every day, at some random point in the day I'll suddenly remember quite vividly a dream I had years and years ago. It seems like these sudden rememberings have absolutely no relation to what I was thinking or doing at the time.

Does anyone else have this strange kind of recollection. Or better still, does anyone know why this might happen? Is it just random neurons firing in my brain?

Cheers for any feedback.

Hi Alex.
I have to say that I know what you mean. Sometimes I have had parts of dreams come back to me that feel as though they happened two or so years ago. Actually, the weird thing is that I have just triggered one now thinking about it. But it is one I have seen before in the meantime.
I can't think of any reason why it happens. Maybe you are using some deep level brain entrainment? If that's the case it might be an explanation of why you are getting dream flashback.

I do listen to quite a few paraliminal tapes, normally one a day, and I think these random dream recollections have increased since listening to them. I also use a mind machine a few times a week so maybe this is having some effect. I find it rather intriguing, but it's kinda kewl.
