I was wondering...
Does anyone know the frequency ranges of all the different Brain Waves...
And as a sub question... The Accelerated Learning State.... Which of the Brain Wave Frequency ranges does it fall into... and is it better to be at the lower, mid, or upper section of this range to do PhotoReading.

Delta - .4hz - 4hz
Theta - 4hz - 8hz
Alpha - 8hz - 14hz
Beta - 14hz - 40hz

The accelerated learning state is in the lower alpha range; 8-10hz or so. Of course, anything below beta is an accelerated learning state.

Thanks Bubbles...=)
BTW... I am not able to diverge my eyes due to a lack of binocular vision... Instead of "photofocus" i have been attempting to PR with the book upside down and backwards... Anyone have any thoughts on whether this is more or less effective..???
(I know, I should probly go over to the PR forum for this... but, I figure I have the time to write this now.. sooo....
=)
thanks again.

You mean that you're blind in one eye?

Well, hold it upside down and backwards, but try to take in the whole page at once. Expand your visual field; peripheral vision is the key to photofocus, the blip page is just one way it manifests.

not exactly blind...
effectively my eyes don't line up exacly.. my mind shuts out the center portion of one eye at a time and allows perifpheral vision. but not depth perception...(unless I get really, really close and my eyes start to cross at wich point i ususally cant focus tight enough to really use it anyway...) but for the purpose of our discussion it is simillar to being blind in one eye...
Any way... Thanks again...=)

Hi Jay,

next to the diverging of eyes there is an other technique for looking at the pages:
Imagine a cross acroos the book/page that is connecting all four corners of the piece you're reading.
BTW, one of my PR trainers here in Germany is blind on one eye and uses the "cross".

Hope this helps,

Jens
