I thought the brainwave generator was pretty good in improving mental clarity and speed until I found this software share program: The Brain Energizer - http://www.simtel.net/product.php?url_fb_product_page=11085 - It intergrates the Hemi-sync, Tomatis, and some method to alter your brainwaves. I listen it on my stero headphone for 10 mins. and it works pretty good.

Any ever use it?

out of curiosity I downloaded it and have been checking it out. I don't really have much to say about it. My first impression is that it is annoying, but I am going to make a cd and try it out a little more.

Did you buy the full version to be able to listen to all 8 tracks? $24.

No, I haven't bought the full-version tracks yet. Just listening to the free first track is good enough for me.

Well, it's not really suppose to be relaxation music. It's intergration of hemi-sync, tomatis soundwaves, and some beats to energize your brain.

centerpointe has a cd with similar technology, but it is much more pleasant to listen to. It is like a brook bubbling by you, and it has the annoying ascending/descending tone. I found it to be very effective.
It will take me a while to get used to the drumbeat. I don't think it is a bad program, I am just trying to evaluate it's effectiveness.

I am reluctant to say this because I am decidedly anti-centerpointe, but I must admit that the Mind-Stim CD centerpointe offers IS pretty good.

You should listen to it with some really, really good headphones, though.

It is around 24 bucks, so it's a fair price. I don't think it will do everything (or 1/100th of what) they claim, but it is good.

I was referring to mindstim, yes I like it too. My brother took it when he visited me. I was wondering if anyone payed the $24 to get the rest of the Brain Energizer. I have been using it while studying algebra and it has helped me to concentrate longer. I paid for the password, you have to download the newest version at a personal site belonging to Jon Paulone. The site was unavailable, so I don't know what the deal is. I hope I haven't been taken, oh well, it happens. I'll post if I'm able to get the whole program.

Centerpoint cd mind stim uses technology developed by a scientist last name Tomatis. The main thing you hear is a babbling brook in the background. The high frequency does 3 or 4 cycles a second. It's not music you always want to listen to, but it has been effective for me to have greater concentration.

I guess we should wait until we hear more from ctaylor about the website being down before anybody else sends money to this site.

I use the Centerpointe tapes/CDs and I really appreciate using all of them. The MindStim I hear has been updated from the version that I have. I have it on tape and when I got it they called it Silent Stim. I could probably use an update to the latest version on CD, but I am enjoying my frugality right now and will probably continue to listen to my tape that is almost ten years old now.

One other great use for the Centerpointe tapes as regards the work of LSC, there is a CD that I enjoy that has two tracks one for Alpha brain state and the other for Theta. They used to be separate tapes, but now they sell it on one CD as Quietude / Oasis. These could probably be effectively used to put you into the photoreading state of mind with confidence.
