Hello all,

Has anyone had any experiences, either positive or negative, using magnetic therapy?

I bought a book by Gary Null titled "Healing With Magnets" several years ago. In the back of the book there was a [Resources] section and the first listing was for the Albert Roy Davis Research Laboratory, a lab that had been doing magnet therapy research for several decades. I decided to contact them and ended up buying a magnet and two of their books. Well, the magnet worked. I've used it ever since and I have no doubts as to whether or not it has helped me recover from injuries. The most important thing to remember when using magnets is to make absolutely certain that your using only the north pole of the magnet. I have a ceramic type magnet and I believe they are the best.

If you're still not convinced, do a search on www.google.com and type in "University studies on magnet therapy" and you will find lots of studies that show that magnetic energy has a very substantial effect on the human or animal body. To be consistently effective, you must use the north pole of the magnet, use a strong enough gauss (about 1000-4500) and keep the magnet in place for the correct length of time. Many experiments that show no benefit fail to mention one or more of these important factors.
