I've read a number of posts that mention a binaural beat generator, which has gotten me interested in trying a few things. However, it appears the one referenced is for Windows based machines.

Does anyone know if there is anything similar for use on a Mac?

Thanks,
Scott

Hey Theone,

Yes, I found pzizz, and it seems pretty cool. However, at the moment it doesn't allow for a lot of customizations - you can set how long you want the recording to be, and whether you want their vocals, but can't adjust the beats at all - it's set for what they call an "energizer" nap... no other beat settings are available, yet. I know they're planning on coming out with a version geared towards helping with sleep, but I don't know whether they plan on coming out with something that is more user customizable.

In case anyone else is looking for something like this, I've also just found an open source project that generates binaural beats. It's available for Mac (as well as Unix, Linux and Windows).
