Hi Vita-man:
OK - I actually ended up downloading two MP3 files - took a while to find them on the site - they're sort of "hidden" out in the open. Anyways, I ended up initially doing the 15 minute spot with the woman called "Sheila" (needless to say this was very interesting for me L L ). That session got things rolling for me - was a good thing it was short, because I was sort of starting to space-out.
Then, I discovered the longer, 35 minute version with the guys from Integral-Naked. So after a break of about an hour, I listened to that one as well, pretty much in a meditative state so I could just sort of coast along with it. I would probably have received more benefit from it had they not recorded it next to the Indianapolis Speedway (at least that's what it sounded like)! I found the background noise extremely distracting.
However, because I was determined to follow this through, I stuck with it. Needless to say, I will probably never look at my mind the same way again. Very expansive stuff!
Sitting here now typing this, I feel a tremendous sense of peace (something I've really needed today - major upset with my Mom), and in a way I'm beginning to understand what Bill Harris means now when he says "Just let everything be OK". It is already OK - we just don't always let it be that way. All the "voices" get involved, trying to get their share of the "cookie", and everyone ends up with crumbs, but no one gets a big enough chunk of the cookie to really appreciate it.
I am going to experiment with this concept (probably concept isn't the appropriate term - just not sure what else to call it at this time). I will be back with my observations - the experiment will take a few days, as I want to test under a few different scenarios.
Thank you VM for this - what a ride!
Cheers!
