I just finished the tapes yesterday and I am excited about playing with developing my new photoreading skills.

Here's my question: Has anyone experimented with using their finger to run down the center of the page when doing super reading? Or zig-zagging across the page for dipping?

I haven't tried it yet since I am new and want to follow the instructions. But part of the instructions are to play and tinker. What do you all think?

I know that these are speed-reading methods and Paul claims that speed-reading is stress-inducing.

But this wouldn't really be speed-reading, since it would follow photoreading.

Using your finger to 'speed read' is especially useful for helping to set the pace, preventing of wanting to re-read what has already been read.

Should you use it? Hey, if it helps to speed read and you feel comfortable with it ... then by all means.

However, keep one thing in mind, the eye is quicker than the hand! If you learn to use your eyes to guide you rather than your finger ... it may be beneficial in the end. Always best to set good habits from the get go.

Congratulation's on becoming a PR'er. Hope to see you on the DB more often.

When I super-reading - my finger did move itself to right place everytime I ask a question - it did happen to me in past few days.

I wonder if anyone have this sort of experience?

I've never tried that. How do you super read & dip w/ your finger? I could see using your finger for rapid read, but i'm wondering how you do it for super read & dip.

Can you describe how you do this? Thanks..<
