After some discussion in the office I was told that at best I type 70 wpm... (guess I shouldnt trust programs like mavis typing to asses my typing speed.

<sigh>

Yeah typing programs counts your speed at a different way than if you were to type from a book or from your mind.

HE HE i've been practincing my typing with "All the right Type" for quite a while now and i've pretty much mastered their tests. I go all the way up to 129 wpm doing their test because i've been doing them so much; however there is no way im typing that fast as i post this message on this forum. Since i have to think of my wording and grammer and such.

With computer programming, im not surprised that people can reach speeds of 100+ wpm simply because computer programming is a repetetive process, all the syntax stays the same and you have your high-mid-low level program design infront of you when you are coding your ADT and Algorithmic procedural, so you really don't need to think too much.

A secretarial company tested Pete at 120 wpm.

Though, I'm sure as with reading, he moves at various speeds.
