Here is a strategy, right from Paul Scheele for utilizing the PhotoReading whole mind system for taking tests. Also, review the PhotoReading book section on how to go in and take tests.

First, go into your relaxed state. Place the tangerine on the back of your head.

Your purpose statement is to expose the entire test to your inner mind.

Do a PhotoRead through the whole test, to get the most out of it. When finished, say "This is what I'll have to answer."

Stay open the whole time during taking the test.

Read each question, and release any clutching if no answer comes. Read all questions lightly, glancing over possible answers. Just read them. Say "This is what I'll have to answer" Give yourself opportunity to look over the entire thing.

Then, go back to the first question, consult with all and any inner signals, Red, Yellow, Green.

-handle all green lights –questions you can answer now.
-handle all yellow lights –questions you didn't have an immediate answer for, but now you have.
-handle all red lights –questions your inner mind needs more time locating the answer for.

As you go back through your test, give the following suggestion to your other-than-conscious mind: "Start bringing up all associations needed to answer this question." The associations you started making earlier will
now connect and make sense. Trigger associations.

You absolutely need mindmaps to commit information to memory, as these stimulate the whole mind.

Creating and studying mindmaps builds new neuro connections to access and activate knowledge at a later date. 89-98% begins to activate.

And, be open to, notice, and acknowledge all and any small subtle indicators your inner mind is communicating information to you consciously.

Remember, the PhotoReading step alone does not replace actual study.

A book which would require 10 hours to regular read and achieve a 75% to 85% comprehension may take a beginning PhotoReader up to 5 hours to get the same comprehension, with improved retention. An experienced PhotoReader would need only spend a half hour.

As a rule of thumb, the higher the level of comprehension you want, the more time you will need to spend activating. The PhotoReading whole mind system will allow you to gain better comprehension with improved retention spending half to a tenth of the time it would take reading regular.
