I need help with activation of text books. When mind mapping, should this be done from my memory or should I go back through the book? When mind probing, how do I decide what questions to ask myself?

Also on rapid reading. Isn't this step basically regular reading? If so I'm confused on how this is supposed to be 3 times faster.

about rapid reading...it is faster. You have already previewed the book, submitted it all to your subconcious mind (photoreading), and activated. You already conciously know alot, so you can speed through the material, only slowing down when you think neccessary.

I mind map from the book. In fact, I find it helpful to put the trigger words on the mind map. They become lines off the central topic. I then use the trigger words to create mind probing questions as I thumb through the book. Answers branch off the appropriate trigger word branch.

If additional mind probing questions come up or I find new trigger words as I go through the book, I record those as well.
