Hello everybody!

I've used PhotoReading and Stereoreading 2 years by now, more or less successfully, and started wondering about the blip page/stereoimage...

Is it so that the blip page is used in PhR only to distract the conscious mind?

The point of the PhR stage is of course to enter all the information into the unconscious mind, and the better the less the conscious mind interacts. So, give the conscious mind something difficult to do, like seeing a different picture with each eye. ?

As far as I have experienced, the relaxed state in PhR does not require seeing the blip page. But it requires seeing 180 (or almost 180) degrees in front of you.

Just thinking... -purjo

The blip page happens automatically during photofocus. The "4-3-2-1" chant is used to keep the conscious mind engaged while flipping, instead of giving you negative self-talk.

I have been wondering about the apparent overlapping pages in photofocus. Does the subconscious interpret the words correctly even if say the word 'stop' is directly over the word 'go'.

That doesn't matter. Each eye is getting a complete image of both pages and the brain easily separates the two.
