I was thinking just a little bit ago, "Why do some want to improve themselves, and others not?"

Some are just so determined to succeed that you might wonder what drives them. Why do you want to (or not want to) improve yourself? Is there some specific reason, or is it a journey with the experience as its own reward?

I'd love to hear your comments.

Sure. Mine is totally hedonistic. I want to get the maximum pleasure from life possible.

Self improvement methods have improved my overall quality of life. When my brain is fired up, life is more enjoyable. The same holds true for my level of fitness as well.
